Our History

The Foundation has distributed over $40,000 back into the Holly Area School district since 2016!  This consisted of Holly Area School's Pre-kindergarten to 12th-grade teachers.  The grant monies were used in a variety of ways:  trail cams for data gathering in middle school Ecology class, a field trip to the Detroit Zoo to study animals, an elementary Family Math Night, the purchase of tools for high school woodshop class, adapted seating for physical and intellectual motivation, the purchase of Boogie Boards (LCD boards) to practice math and literacy skills, purchase additional books for the second-grade book clubs, buy aquaponics equipment for middle school science study, purchase of spectrum analysis equipment to support 8th grade science, the continuation of the Holly High School Community trail, new maps to support social studies curriculum, and the purchase of Rekenreks to enhance elementary math. 

As you can see, our fundraisers and donations are put to good use!  We will continue to distribute the monies throughout the Holly Area School District by supporting teachers, students, and other staff members.
